The Samuel C. Hamilton Achievement Scholarship is a one-time award to a college-bound high school senior pursuing a degree in any field. This scholarship recognizes high-performing academic students with demonstrated leadership achievement.
Each scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $1,000. This scholarship is not renewable.
April 15th
Scholarship eligible students must be graduating high school seniors with a minimum of a 3.00 GPA who will continue their education at a four-year college or university. There is no state residency requirement. Consideration will be given to a student’s record of academic achievement; leadership positions or roles held in student activity clubs or organizations (including sports teams, religious organizations, school clubs or community service organizations or efforts).
The Scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in one lump sum in August of each year. This scholarship is not renewable. Only high school seniors intending to enroll in a two-year community college or four-year college or university are eligible to apply.
