The Samuel C. Hamilton General Scholarship is a one-time award to college-bound high school seniors who may not typically qualify academically for the large majority of scholarships available for their peers. It offers an opportunity to a student who has not been a stellar academic achiever but shows the promise and potential to enjoy success at the collegiate level and in life.
Each scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $500. This scholarship is not renewable.
April 15th
Scholarship eligible students must be graduating high school seniors with a minimum of a 2.30 GPA and a maximum of a 2.75 GPA. This scholarship is available for students pursuing a degree at either a community college or four-year college or university. There is no specific degree requirement or state residency requirement. Students must be accepted and enrolled into an institution.
Award notifications will be sent out in June for high school seniors . This scholarship is not renewable. Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.
