Ted Sanchious

Theodore (Ted) R. Sanchious joined Santander Bank, N.A. in January 2019 as Senior Vice President and Head of Receivables Product Management for Transaction Banking.  He leads a Product Team in its continued support of Santander Bank’s ongoing efforts for growth in Treasury Management. Ted’s team is responsible for product line performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization.  The team is also responsible for product pricing, product development and new business development which are paramount to the growth of the business. 

Ted is a highly experienced leader in business and not for profit board leadership.  Ted has extensive experience designing and developing strategic plans, managing, training and leading leaders, and developing products and services for Corporations, State and Local Governments and the Federal Government.  He has more than 30 years of advancement in diversified financial services leadership roles that have included Product Management and Development, Client Service and Operations Management.  Prior to joining Santander Bank, Ted served as Vice President and Head of Product Management for First Data’s Remittance Services Business.  He also held senior leadership roles as Product Head for Citi’s North America Core Receivables Business and as Public Sector Product Management Head for JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services Business. 

Ted is not only a leader in business, but has served as a community leader throughout his career.  He has served as Director or Executive Officer for more than a dozen not for profit organizations over the past 30+ years.  He has also served as a member of the Financial Services Curriculum Design Team for the State of Arizona, where he worked on implementing a Financial Services Curriculum for grades K through 12. Ted currently serves as Secretary for the Dream Builders Foundation. 

Ted holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, a Masters in Business Administration Degree and is a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Leadership. As an undergraduate, Ted was a scholarship athlete and Captain of his University’s Track and Field Team for two years. He also earned Hall of Fame Athlete of the Year honors. Ted is a member of the Urban Financial Services Coalition and the Institute of Financial Operations.  He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), which distinguishes him in the field of Treasury Management and Finance.

Ted is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as Regional Senior Vice President for the Northeastern Region. He is also a Life Member of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and a Life Member of the Northeastern Region. Ted is also a Master Mason and member of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Pa.
